Situated in the North-West of Pokhara, Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of the most adventurous trekking routes among the 8000-meter Himalayas. The Dhaulagiri Trek was opened since 1950 and was discovered by the French expedition team. The trail passes through the lateral moraines, snow-clad passes, and icy glaciers. Throughout our trekking journey, we will enjoy the splendid views of the Dhaulagiri massifs wonderfully complemented by the Magar communities on the way.

Our journey starts from Kathmandu with a scenic drive to Beni. The trek initially heads to Babiyachaur and Dharapani on the earlier stages. When gently ascending to Muri, we continue ahead to Boghara. The vegetation, Magar villages, and wildlife on the way offer a pleasant escape from what can be a difficult walk. The journey doesn’t get any easier, however; the trekking difficulty gradually increases in difficulty as we head to Lipase followed by Dobhan. The Himalayas near as we head towards the base camps and first we reach Puchhar Base Camp. Our journey going towards Japanese Camp and finally culminates at Dhaulagiri Base Camp. And when traversing French Pass (5360m) and Dhampus Pass (5258m), we finally head Pokhara and then to Pokhara. The Around Dhaulagiri trekking region is inhibited by the Magar community which gives us the chance to learn about their lifestyle and their culture. Our journey along these trails is highly challenging and is primly suitable for the trekkers having prior mountaineering experience. Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking is perfect for the adventure seekers ready to take challenges and desiring to create a lifetime memorable experience in these forbidden valleys.
